'After more than a decade gaining design and management experience with commercial practices in Edinburgh and Fife, I realised a long held ambition with the launch of add+ in late 2009. I am passionate about design, I am passionate about helping my clients realise the full potential of their projects, and I am passionate about delivering the best possible value for their investment, maximising the return on any given budget.

From my experience as an architect I am familiar with the many practical and bureaucratic challenges a building project can produce. My earlier experiences as a design tutor in the architectural school of Edinburgh College of Art helped to sharpen my eye for spotting design opportunities and solutions, and also sharpen my communication skills. More recently my experiences as a developer in the Social Enterprise field have given me a rounded understanding of the commercial pressures and frustrations which are common to many clients.

My key professional interests are in sustainability, affordability and accessibility - particularly in relation to housing and community projects. I have also taken key roles in the past within the design teams of several major commercial developments.

I enjoy the challenge of architecture, design and development work and I enjoy the opportunity to add+ value to each project I undertake.'
